Una sala cinematografica piena di bambini, famiglie, allenatori, educatori e staff. Ma, soprattutto, una serata che ha visto protagonisti i ragazzi del progetto One Team di Gratosoglio, al centro di un momento speciale di condivisione e inclusione.
Un’unica parola a fare da filo conduttore: sogno.
Ieri Olimpia Milano ha vissuto un bel momento, portando al cinema per una proiezione privata le squadre del minibasket Olimpia, i ragazzi del progetto One Team di Gratosoglio e la squadra di basket del Vismara.
Un’occasione pensata non solo per guardare un film, ma per condividere un’esperienza educativa e valoriale, creando un’occasione concreta di incontro tra percorsi diversi ma uniti dagli stessi valori.
Per i ragazzi di One Team e’ stata un’esperienza vissuta fianco a fianco con altri bambini e bambine, un momento di normalità, partecipazione e appartenenza: seduti nelle stesse file, emozionati davanti alle stesse immagini, uniti dalla stessa passione.
La serata è stata introdotta da un messaggio semplice ma potente: i sogni non hanno età, non hanno maglia, non hanno categoria. Appartengono a tutti. E nello sport, come nella vita, si costruiscono giorno dopo giorno con impegno, passione e spirito di squadra.
A rendere ancora più significativa l’iniziativa è stata la presenza di un ospite speciale: Bruno Cerella, da sempre vicino ai progetti di comunità e inclusione come ambassador di One Team nelle sue stagioni a Milano e Venezia e, attualmente, ambassador di Laureus Italia, la fondazione che insieme ad Olimpia promuove il progetto One Team utilizzando la pallacanestro come strumento educativo e sociale.
Bruno ha condiviso con i ragazzi la sua esperienza personale lanciando un messaggio potente a tutti i giovani presenti e trovando ascolto negli occhi attenti dei bambini, in particolare nei ragazzi di One Team, che nello sport stanno costruendo il proprio spazio sicuro di crescita:
“I sogni vanno coltivati, i sogni vanno inseguiti, vanno vissuti. Per materializzarli e renderli realtà ci vorrebbe l’azione. Tutto un percorso di crescita personale, inseguendo quel sogno, quel sogno di divertirmi, quel sogno di realizzare la mia vita attraverso una passione, quel sogno di crescere dentro al campo ma soprattutto fuori dal campo. Prima di tutto penso che inseguire i sogni sia una cosa bellissima perché ci fa svegliare ogni giorno con il desiderio di arrivarci, con il desiderio di fare qualcosa per noi stessi, di avere degli obiettivi. In più, vivere attraverso lo sport, attraverso una palla, attraverso il divertimento e la passione, penso che sia una cosa meravigliosa.”
La serata si inserisce all’interno di un percorso che continua settimana dopo settimana in palestra e in momenti extra campo. Gli allenamenti di One Team stanno proseguendo nella palestra della scuola Arcadia di Gratosoglio con un focus sempre più mirato sulle life skills, lavorando in particolare sui temi come la gestione della frustrazione e sul rispetto delle regole di squadra, intese come responsabilità condivisa.
Un lavoro educativo che va oltre l’aspetto tecnico e che aiuta i ragazzi a crescere non solo come giocatori, ma come persone.
One Team at the Movies: Dreaming Together with Bruno Cerella
A movie theatre filled with children, families, coaches, educators and staff. But above all, an evening that placed the young participants of the One Team project from Gratosoglio at the heart of a special moment of sharing and inclusion.
One single word tied the entire event together: dream.
Yesterday, Olimpia Milano experienced a truly meaningful moment, bringing the Olimpia minibasket teams, the young people from the One Team project in Gratosoglio, and the Vismara basketball team to a private movie screening.
The event was designed not just to watch a film, but to share an educational and values-driven experience — creating a real opportunity for connection between different paths united by the same principles.
For the One Team participants, it was an experience lived side by side with other boys and girls: a moment of normalcy, participation and belonging. Sitting in the same rows, moved by the same scenes, united by the same passion.
The evening opened with a simple yet powerful message: dreams have no age, no jersey, no category. They belong to everyone. In sport, as in life, they are built day after day through commitment, passion and team spirit.
Making the initiative even more meaningful was the presence of a special guest: Bruno Cerella, long close to community and inclusion projects as a One Team ambassador during his seasons in Milan and Venice, and currently an ambassador for Laureus Italia — the foundation that, together with Olimpia, promotes the One Team project using basketball as an educational and social tool.
Bruno shared his personal experience with the young participants, delivering a powerful message that resonated in the attentive eyes of the children — especially the One Team players, who through sport are building their own safe space for growth:
“Dreams must be nurtured, dreams must be chased, dreams must be lived. To make them real, action is needed. It’s a journey of personal growth — chasing that dream, the dream of having fun, the dream of building my life through a passion, the dream of growing on the court, but above all, off the court. I believe that chasing dreams is something beautiful because it makes us wake up every day with the desire to reach them, with the desire to do something for ourselves, to have goals. And living through sport, through a ball, through fun and passion — I think that is something truly wonderful.”
The evening is part of a broader journey that continues week after week, both in the gym and beyond the court. One Team practices are ongoing at the Arcadia school gym in Gratosoglio, with an increasing focus on life skills — particularly on managing frustration and respecting team rules, understood as shared responsibility.
An educational path that goes beyond technical skills, helping young participants grow not only as players but as individuals.
