È ufficialmente ripartito il progetto EuroLeague One Team di Olimpia Milano, realizzato in collaborazione con Fondazione Laureus Italia, Scalo Milano Outlet & More e i partner internazionali del programma EuroLeague.
Il progetto One Team nasce con l’obiettivo di utilizzare il basket come strumento educativo, inclusivo e di crescita personale. Il programma si inserisce nella missione sociale di Olimpia e nella metodologia “Sport for Good” di Laureus, che promuove lo sport come mezzo per affrontare bisogni sociali e supportare i giovani più fragili nelle aree complesse caratterizzate da diversità culturale e rischio di disagio sociale.
L’edizione 2025–2026 è iniziata presso la scuola secondaria Arcadia di Gratosoglio, con tre giornate ricche di attività educative e sportive che hanno coinvolto tutte le classi prime dell’istituto.
Le prime due giornate del progetto, il 10 e 11 novembre, sono state dedicate alla presentazione del percorso One Team alle 8 classi prime attraverso attività in aula e in palestra.
Gli studenti hanno incontrato lo staff di Olimpia e Laureus per un’introduzione ai valori del programma, rispetto, impegno, collaborazione, e divertimento, e hanno partecipato alle prime attività sportive che mireranno alla creazione del gruppo di lavoro.
Due giorni fondamentali per preparare le classi alla fase successiva del progetto e per iniziare a costruire un percorso condiviso tra scuola, allenatori, educatori e Olimpia.
La conclusione della presentazione è stata celebrata il 20 novembre, in occasione del Children’s Day, con una giornata speciale ricca di momenti significativi.
I 140 studenti delle classi prime hanno preso parte ad una mattinata di sport e basket organizzata sui campi del settore giovanile di Olimpia Milano, mettendosi alla prova in mini partite di 4vs4 e gare di tiro.
A seguire, le classi hanno assistito dal vivo all’allenamento mattutino di Olimpia Milano presso l’Unipol Forum, il giorno della partita contro l’Hapoel Tel Aviv. Un momento emozionante che ha permesso ai ragazzi di vedere da vicino i giocatori della prima squadra.
Al termine dell’allenamento, tutti i bambini e le bambine sono scesi in campo per una foto con i giocatori e per ricevere i regali, un pallone ciascuno, concludendo il momento con un grande grido collettivo: “ONE TEAM!”
Un gesto che segna simbolicamente l’avvio del percorso e sostiene concretamente l’attività dei ragazzi.
Terminata la fase di presentazione, a dicembre partirà ufficialmente il gruppo One Team, formato da 35 ragazzi e ragazze scelti tra le classi dell’Istituto.
Il gruppo svolgerà attività settimanali con lo staff educativo e tecnico di Olimpia Milano e Laureus, seguendo un percorso che combina sport, crescita personale e lavoro di squadra.
Nei mesi successivi il progetto vedrà il gruppo impegnato in eventi speciali, con i partner del progetto e attività sul campo con gli ambassador di Olimpia Milano e di Euroleague One Team.
L’obiettivo è accompagnare i ragazzi in un percorso educativo di lungo periodo, utilizzando il basket come strumento per sviluppare competenze, autostima e senso di appartenenza.
Olimpia Milano’s EuroLeague One Team project, created in collaboration with the Laureus Italia Foundation, Scalo Milano Outlet & More, and the international partners of the EuroLeague program, has officially restarted. The One Team project was created with the aim of using basketball as an educational, inclusive, and personal growth tool.
The program is part of Olimpia’s social mission and Laureus’ “Sport for Good” methodology, which promotes sport as a means of addressing social needs and supporting vulnerable young people in complex areas characterized by cultural diversity and the risk of social hardship. The 2025–2026 edition began at the Arcadia secondary school in Gratosoglio, with three days full of educational and sporting activities involving all the school’s first-year classes.
The first two days of the project, on November 10 and 11, were dedicated to presenting the One Team program to the eight first-year classes through activities in the classroom and gym. The students met with Olimpia and Laureus staff for an introduction to the program’s values of respect, commitment, collaboration, and fun, and participated in the first sports activities aimed at creating a working group.
These two days were crucial in preparing the classes for the next phase of the project and in beginning to build a shared path between the school, coaches, educators, and Olimpia. The conclusion of the presentation was celebrated on November 20, Children’s Day, with a special day full of meaningful moments.
The 140 first-year students took part in a morning of sports and basketball organized on the courts of Olimpia Milano’s youth sector, testing themselves in mini 4vs4 games and shooting competitions. Afterwards, the classes watched Olimpia Milano’s morning training session live at the Unipol Forum on the day of the game against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
It was an exciting moment that allowed the children to see the first team players up close. At the end of the training session, all the children took to the court for a photo with the players and to receive gifts, one ball each, concluding the moment with a big collective shout: “ONE TEAM!” A gesture that symbolically marks the start of the journey and concretely supports the children’s activities.
Once the presentation phase is complete, the One Team group, made up of 35 boys and girls chosen from the school’s classes, will officially launch in December. The group will carry out weekly activities with the educational and technical staff of Olimpia Milano and Laureus, following a program that combines sport, personal growth, and teamwork.
In the following months, the project will see the group involved in special events with project partners and activities on the court with ambassadors from Olimpia Milano and Euroleague One Team. The goal is to accompany the young people on a long-term educational journey, using basketball as a tool to develop skills, self-esteem, and a sense of belonging.
