EuroLeague Academy, il marchio di base di Euroleague Basketball, sta lavorando allo sviluppo di tornei di basket in varie città nei territori dei team di  EuroLeague. L’obiettivo del progetto è quello di coinvolgere i bambini delle scuole, i ragazzi e le ragazze, nella pratica del basket e delle abilità motorie che sono alla base dello sport facendogli conoscere EuroLeague usando testimonianze proveniente da giocatori, allenatori e ambasciatori che rappresentano i vari club e questo supporterà anche i tornei.

Il Torneo EuroLeague Academy di Milano vedrà i bambini di 8 scuole della più ampia area milanese competere nel primo torneo EuroLeague Academy in Italia. Il torneo di Milano vedrà la partecipazione di otto squadre, provenienti da 8 scuole, composte dai bambini nati nel 2008, tutte le squadre vedranno la partecipazione sia di ragazze che ragazzi. Il torneo è strutturato con una prima fase , con le 8 squadre divise  in due gruppi composti da quattro squadre. In base alla classifica , le squadre si affronteranno nei quarti di finale, e successivamente ci sarà la fase finale a quattro del torneo EuroLeague Academy di Milano, un evento di un giorno che si terrà il 13 maggio 2020


EuroLeague Academy, the grassroots brand of Euroleague Basketball, is working on the development of a basketball tournaments across various cities in EuroLeague territories. The aim of the project is to engage school kids, boys and girls, in the practice of basketball and the life skills that are behind the sport by getting them to know EuroLeague using the reference coming from the players, coaches and ambassadors representing the various clubs and that will also be supporting the tournaments.

EuroLeague Academy Tournament Milan will see children from 8 schools from wider Milan area compete in the first ever EuroLeague Academy tournament in Italy. The tournament in Milan is being contested by eight school teams of children born in 2008, with all teams containing both boys and girls. An initial group phase divides the teams into groups of four in a single-game round-robin format. Based on group classification teams will face eachother in the Quarter finals before the winners will advance to the EuroLeague Academy Tournament Final Four Milan, a one-day event to be held on 13th of May 2020
