Ogni bimbo, abbiamo visto, ha dei talenti che si possono esprimere nel dare corpo ai propri sogni. Stimolare i desideri e i talenti è possibile anche aiutandosi vicendevolmente con il compagno di banco e in classe. E su questa linea ci siamo attivati, durante la terza sessione one-line del progetto One Team con le tre classi quinte del plesso Baroni, per stimolare i bambini a raccontarci una caratteristica che li ha colpiti, parlando e raccontando il rapporto con un compagno di classe o di banco. I talenti come i sogni si possono confrontare e ogni bambino ha raccontato quali caratteristiche li ha colpiti maggiormente di ogni compagno di banco. I bambini hanno una mente aperta, a volte lungimirante. Chi ha detto che il proprio compagno ha la capacità di consolare qualcuno nelle proprie tristezze, qualche altro ha riscontrato l’allegria e la capacità di far ridere, altri anche semplicemente di ascoltare. Ogni bimbo ha un talento e ogni bimbo ha un sogno. Insomma, li abbiamo stimolati a dare valore ai propri talenti e alle proprie caratteristiche per poter realizzare un sogno.
Il talento di ognuno è il punto di partenza per potersi sognare. Il talento è ciò che sappiamo fare meglio, ogni giocatore in campo ha un ruolo che esprime il suo talento e con quella certezza si muove sul campo, saper il proprio ruolo ci aiuta a muoverci nella vita. E ogni ruolo ha caratteristiche tecniche sia fisiche che mentali. Il sogno per esprimersi ha bisogno del talento, e abbiamo cercato di far vedere e far scegliere ai bambini chi vorrebbero essere e quale potrebbe essere il loro ruolo nel mondo. Poter dire “io vorrei essere” è un modo per sognarsi ad alta voce…
“Il ruolo si materializza nel momento in cui capisco che ciò che desidero è importante. E questo perché parto da quel ruolo, da quel talento, da quelle caratteristiche che mi fanno essere unico e diverso, per progettare i miei desideri e spingermi a sognare” ha raccontato Marilisa Zanini, coach di One Team , rispetto a quanto svolto con le tre classi che partecipano al progetto One Team. “Abbiamo chiesto ai ragazzi – continua Marilisa- di prendere un foglio bianco, e scrivere il proprio sogno, il proprio desiderio, il ruolo che avrebbero voluto nella vita ,e come quando stanno in lunetta sotto canestro in una campo da basket, li abbiamo stimolati a scriverci il proprio sogno, facendo trasformare quel foglio di carta bianco e con un desiderio dentro, una pallina. Il sogno si è concretizzato in esercizi di ball handling che Filippo il coach di one team ha dimostrato ai bimbi”.
Una pallina di carta appallottolata è un simbolo, lanciata in aria, per i bambini che la lanciano con il nasino all’insù la guardano roteare verso il cielo, verso l’infinito, oltre i muri e il soffitto della propria stanza, in alto, oltre anche alla vista del freddo pc che in questo periodo, è uno spiraglio di libertà . Poi la pallina scende giù e viene presa come Kyle Hines cattura i suoi rimbalzi in una partita. La pallina, come un acchiappasogni, tiene stretta in se il sogno del bambino. Il suo talento, i suoi desideri. Da bambini e da adulti l’imperativo è continuare a sognare, tenere stretta una meta, guardare fisso l’obiettivo e non fermarsi.
La pallina è un invito a far si che con i sogni si possa giocare, sperimentare. I bimbi hanno capito che un sogno va protetto, difeso e allenato, come la palla nel gioco del basket. Poi i bimbi sono stati invitati a rivolgere quattro domande sul sogno a persone che fanno parte della loro quotidianità, nella prossima sessione potremmo vedere come hanno imparato a sognare.

Talents like dreams can be compared and each child told which characteristics struck them most of every classmate.
Children have an open mind, sometimes farsighted. Those who said that their partner has the ability to console someone in their sadness, some others have found joy and the ability to make people laugh, others even simply to listen. Each child has a talent and each child has a dream. In short, we have encouraged them to value their talents and characteristics in order to make a dream come true.
Everyone’s talent is the starting point to be able to dream. Talent is what we do best, every player on the pitch has a role that expresses his talent and with that certainty he moves on the pitch, knowing your role helps us move in life. Each role has both physical and mental technical characteristics. To express themselves, dreams need talent, and we tried to make children see and choose who they would like to be and what their role in the world could be. Being able to say “I would like to be” is a way to dream out loud …
“The role materializes the moment I understand that what I want is important. This is because I start from that role, from that talent, from those characteristics that make me unique and different, to design my desires and push me to dream ” said Marilisa Zanini, One Team coach.
“We asked the boys” – continues Marilisa – “to take a blank sheet, and write their dream, their desire, the role they would have wanted in life, and how and when they are in the line under the basket in a basketball court, we stimulated them to write their own dream, transforming that white sheet of paper with a desire. The dream materialized in ball handling exercises that Filippo the one team coach demonstrated to the children”.
A ball of crumpled paper is a symbol, thrown into the air, for children who throw it with their noses up, watch it spin towards the sky, towards infinity, beyond the walls and ceiling of their room, above, as well as the sight of the cold PC which in this period is a glimmer of freedom. Then the ball drops down and is caught as Kyle Hines catches his rebounds in a match. The ball, like a dream catcher, holds the child’s dream tightly within itself. His talent, his desires.
As children and adults, the imperative is to keep dreaming, to keep a goal close, to gaze at the goal and not to stop.The ball is an invitation to let you play and experiment with dreams. The children understood that a dream must be protected, defended and trained, like the ball in the game of basketball. Then the children were invited to ask four questions about the dream to people who are part of their daily life, in the next session we could see how they learned to.
