Olimpia shook off its torpor, defending and attacking up to its capabilities only in the fourth quarter, when the team came back with two significant runs and shrank the deficit to four points. That was when Bayern stop hemorraging thanks of a Wenyen Gabriel put back after Olimpia’s defense had forced Niels Giffey into a difficult shot with less than half a second left in the shot clock. Finally, a foul called on Armoni Brooks on a Vladimir Lucic three-pointer cost a lot. Bayern deservedly won, leading consistenlty from the second quarter on, while Olimpia fell off by a 26-point biggest deficit that was impossible to erase. They tried but in the end failed.
