2024/25 SEASON - He helped the team win the Supercup, averaging 14.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocked shots per game. He shot 70.0 percent from the field. He scored 20 points in the championship game including the put-back dunk that forced overtime.
HIS CAREER - Josh Nebo grew up in Katy, near Houston, and started playing at Cypress Lakes High School in Katy. Eventually, he transferred to the University of St. Francis in Pennsylvania where in his second year he averaged 12.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, was named defensive player of the year and was named to the Northeast conference third team. In the summer of 2017, he transferred to Texas A&M. In his first season there, he averaged 8.1 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, rising to 12.5 points and 6.2 rebounds the following season, his last one in college. In 2020/21 he started his professional career in Israel at Hapoel Eilat (13.9 points per game) where he topped the rebounding list (9.9 per game), shot 65.5 percent from the field and finished with 1.1 blocks per game on average. At the end of the season, he moved to Zalgiris Kaunas making his EuroLeague debut (8.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a rookie). In Lithuania, he won the both the championship and the national cup. He then moved to Maccabi Tel Aviv where he won the 2023 and 2024 Israeli title. In the EuroLeague, he averaged 7.4 points per game with 6.2 rebounds in 2022/23. In 2023/24, he finished the season with 11.2 points and 7.2 rebounds on average, was the competition leading rebounder and best offensive rebounder (3.1). He shot 66.9 percent from two. In the league he had 10.6 points, 5.8 rebounds per game, had 72.2 percent on two-point shooting.
