The Lithuanian Supercup was won by Zalgiris Kaunas, a future EA7 Emporio Armani Milano opponent in Euroleague competition. But in the second leg of the series, in Vilnius, the Croat big man, loaned for one year to Lietuvos rytas Vilnius, had  a superb game, scoring 20 points with 6/8 from the field and 8/10 from the line.
