Zach LeDay’s 39 rating points against Panathinaikos represent the third best performance by an Olimpia player in the EuroLeague era. The record still belongs to Samardo Samuels, who had 47 points in the February 2015 game played in Nizhny Novgorod. Number two in this special ranking is Shavon Shields who had a rating of 41 on an unforgettable night, Game 5 of the 2021 playoffs, the one that took Olimpia to the Final Four. In third place now is sitting LeDay, whose all-time record dates back to his time at Olympiacos when he had a rating of 42 in one game. This year he had already scored 37 personal rating points, in Barcelona. His 39 pushes from the “podium” Maodo Lo’s 38 in Belgrade 2023/24 and Nikola Mirotic’s 38 in Istanbul against Fenerbahce, agains registered during the last season.

The five top personal rating performances by an Olimpia player in the EuroLeague

Against Panathinaikos, Zach LeDay scored 33 points which represents his new career high. In the history of Olimpia in the EuroLeague (i.e. from 2000 onwards) it is the eleventh time that a player has scored over 30 points in a single game. The record still belongs to Samardo Samuels in his Russian supernight with 36. LeDay is the first since Mike James in 2018/19 to score at least thirty points twice during the same season. He had scored 33 pointsin Barcelona, too, in another great Olimpia win. His five threes made are also a personal best. Not only that: with 42 three-pointers since the start of the season, LeDay has already surpassed his personal record for three-poiners made in a single season which was 34 and dated back to his previous season at Olimpia.
