Olimpia Milan has reached an agreement until the 2025\/26 season with point guard Neno Dimitrijevic, 1.91 mt tall, born in Skopje, Macedonia, on 23 February 1998, coming from Unics Kazan, Russia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

NENO DIMITRIJEVIC –<\/u><\/em><\/strong> “I’m very happy and grateful to be now a part of this historic club. I’m excited for the opportunity to be part of the history of Olimpia and will try to help the team win hopefully important trophies. I can’t wait to get started, I will see you all very soon”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HIS CAREER<\/u><\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Raised in Skopje, Dimitrijevic moved to Spain in 2016 to play for Joventut Badalona where he remained for four seasons. During the last one, the 2020\/21 season, he averaged 10.4 points and 3.6 assists per game in the Spanish league. In the 2019\/20 Eurocup he averaged 11.9 points per game while coming off the bench with 3.9 assists per game; the following season he averaged 12.9 points and 3.6 assists per game. In 2021, he signed with Valencia, where he averaged 5.5 points in the Eurocup, 9.5 points and 4.2 assists in the Spanish league. In 2022 he was traded on loan to Unics Kazan (he averaged 12.9 points and 5.5 assists in the VTB League) where he led the team to the championship and was named MVP of the playoffs. At the end of the season, Kazan bought him out of Valencia: during the 2023\/24 season, he was named MVP of the VTB league (18.2 points, 7.0 assists, 42.1 percent on threes). Unics Kazan finished the regular season in first place but then lost the championship series against CSKA Moscow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NOTES <\/u><\/em><\/strong>\u2013 Dimitrijevic boasts a long career with the Macedonian national team since his youth days. He played four youth European championships averaging 18.8 points and 5.7 assists for his career. With the senior national team, he played in the qualifiers for the 2021 European Championships and then for the 2022 European Championships (18.4 points and 5.6 assists on average). In 2023, in the pre-qualifiers for the 2025 European Championships he averaged 24.5 points and 5.5 assists per game, qualifying Macedonia for the actual qualifiers.
