It was a tough 89-83 loss for Olimpia in Sassari. A very fragile start was followed gradually, especially in the second half, by a furious rally, but in the end it was, if not too late, not enough to secure the win. Dinamo started 12-0. Olimpia scored the first point off a Nicol\u00f2 Melli dunk four minutes and half into the game; missed the first nine threes before connecting with Stefano Tonut. The deficit was essentially in double figure throughout the game until Shavon Shields went crazy in an incredible display of effectiveness in the second half when he scored 28 of his game-high 31 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in the third quarter his 14 points were enough to keep Olimpia alive. In the fourth he made four consecutive threes helped by Diego Flaccadori more than anybody else. Olimpia tied the game up three times, the last at 83. But right when the offense was crazy, the defense collapsed allowing Sassari to score off five consecutive trips down the court.
