It looked like another day in the office for Arturas Gudaitis, in Gran Canaria. But those numbers never increased. There were six minutes and 50 seconds to go in the second period, Olimpia was ahead 31-30, when Oriol Pauli missed a shot, Mindaugas Kuzminskas committed a foul on Ondrej Balvin. In the meanwhile, Gudaitis, who was also fighting for the rebound, went down. At the time, he thought only about how to get back on the court in a hurry. But in the locker room, he had to surrender to reality: the knee injury suffered on February 1, 2019, was season-ending. His second season in Milan (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VcQ9YOOs75I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em><strong>here the highlights of his EuroLeague season<\/strong><\/em><\/a>) ended abruptly. Five months have passed since that day: Gudaitis had surgery and gradually returned to work. His days are very long, made of swimming pool sessions, treatments, weight room and lately finally some basketball stuff.
