Coach Simone Pianigiani talked about the upcoming Khimki game before leaving Milan to Moscow, again without Jordan Theodore. The starting point-guard and a top 10-player in assists will be unavailable because of a sprained left ankle. “Khimki is a team coming off four win in the last five games, with a lot of confidence and many skills – Pianigiani said -. They are very solid, they have the size to have a very effective switching defense because all their player are tall and athletic. This is why they have the third-best defense in the EuroLeague and why Khimki is very effective at steals and forcing turnovers. On top of that, they have the immense talented Alexey Shved who can score and create for his teammates.
