{"id":35083,"date":"2017-07-06T12:28:49","date_gmt":"2017-07-06T10:28:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/web.demo.olimpia.iquii.info\/euroleague-shareholders-meeting-tip-off-2017-18-season\/"},"modified":"2017-07-06T12:28:49","modified_gmt":"2017-07-06T10:28:49","slug":"euroleague-shareholders-meeting-tip-off-2017-18-season","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.olimpiamilano.com\/en\/euroleague-shareholders-meeting-tip-off-2017-18-season\/","title":{"rendered":"EuroLeague Shareholders Meeting tip off 2017\/18 season"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 40 clubs that will participate in the two premier European club competitions, the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the 7DAYS EuroCup, gathered on Thursday together with the ECA Shareholder domestic leagues\u00a0 to review the latest developments in both competitions, discuss key issues for future growth, as well as to approve the 2017-18 teams list, regulations and calendar.<\/p>\n<p>Euroleague Basketball executives presented to the ECA Shareholders the strategic pillars to drive business operations during the next five years as defined at the recent club owners&#8217; working session in Chantilly, France. Attendees reviewed a report from Euroleague Basketball&#8217;s officiating department, which included key data of the 2016-17 season and their plans for 2017-18.<\/p>\n<p>Further reports on the leagues&#8217; financials, 2017-18 bylaws as well as the integrity and monitoring programme run in partnership with Genius Sports were also heard and approved.<\/p>\n<p>The EuroLeague will maintain its successful renewed format and calendar, with the league&#8217;s start marked on October 12. The season will run its 30 round regular season until April 6.
