So he missed the second intentionally in order to avoid the remaining time-out that would have allowed Neptunas to advanced the ball. It was an happy end after a starnge game. Olimpia dominated it during three exemplay quarters: it held Neptunas to 26 first half-point, then survived its furious rally late in the third keeping a 12-point lead entering the fourth quarter. Then the team stopped doing what it was doing well. The ball was stopped offensively, the rebounds were controlled by Neptunas and the defense had a lack of intensity.
