In Caserta, Olimpia took over the game in the fourth quarter making all six of its three-point attempts and gaining a 15-point lead that proved to be decisive. Olimpia also survived a terrible first quarter when it was 4\/18 from the field missing all seven of its three-point shots. Oliver Lafayette scored five straight points late in the third to turn a 7-point deficit into a 1-point lead entering in the fourth. Ten Kruno Simon, who led Olimpia with 16 points, made two more, Robbie Hummel had an interesting second half, Charles Jenkins made two and one more came from Lafayette. Four players scored in double-digit included Alessandro Gentile. Olimpia was down by eleven late in the first and early in the second but led by as many as 15 points in the fourth. Stanko Barac was a presence in the middle. Still Caserta had a terrific game with Daniele Cinciarini, Dario Hunt and his energy, Micah Downs and his late-game attempt to keep the team in contention.
