Maddox will play next season on loan at Bertram Yachts Tortona.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>HIS CAREER<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 Born and raised in Chicago, Maddox attended the Bloom Township High School. In 2020, he began his college career at Cal State Fullerton. During his freshman year he averaged 11.9 points per game on 42.9 percent three-point shooting. After two years at Cal State Fullerton, he transferred to Toledo. In 2022-23, he averaged 11.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, shooting 45.1 percent on threes. In 2023-24, he averaged 15.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game on 40.2% three-point shooting and earned a spot on the All-Mid-Atlantic Conference Second Team. In 2024-25, he used a fifth year of eligibility and spent it at Xavier, where he played 34 games averaging 7.3 points per game on 41.1 percent three-point shooting. In his only professional season, at Okapi Aalstar in Belgium, he averaged 24.9 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, shooting 46.9 percent from three. He was named MVP of the BNTX, the league that combines teams from Belgium and the Netherlands. He also won the scoring title and led the league in personal rating.
