A bad approach led to a bad game. Venezia scored on the first three possession and never looked back. The lead blew up to 21 points at the end of the third quarter. The first half was a tragedy, Venezia led by 17 and the difference in terms of energy, mental toughness, phisyicality was depressing. Olimpia had a couple of promising sequences in the third when the margin was reduce to 13 but it was misleading. In the fourth it happened again but it was too late. The 73-62 final score was not as bad as the outing. Now it’s time to regroup. Venezia is leading the series 2-1 and game 4 is in Venezia on Wednesday night when a win is imperative to retake control. Jamel McLean was probably the only one who had energy and some quality throughout the game so in game 4 a lot more is expected.
