Olimpia Milano agreed on terms through di end of the season with Willie Deane, holder of Bulgarian passport.
HIS CAREER – He was born in 1980, on February 13th, in Shenectady, NY, where he played  for the local high school. Deane (1.83 mt. tall, point-guard) then attended Boston College and Purdue University. He went undrafted in 2003 so he moved to Europe to play for Ilysiakos, in Greece, in Turkey to play for Turk Telekom Ankara (and one game in Bologna in 2005), he played also two years for Spartak Vladivostok in Russia and Academic Sofia, Zalgiris Kaunas, in Sofia again, Turow in Poland, Nancy, Odessa, Estudiantes Madrid and Khimik. He was playing for Krasny Oktyabr in the VTB where he was avreaging 18.7 points per game, 7.3 assists and 4.9 rebounds.
NOTES – Willie Deane comes from Shenectady, the same town where the Great Pat Riley was born… When he was playing for Purdue, he averaged 17.3 points per game in the Big Ten leading the conference…
