Olimpia Milano has reached a multi-year agreement with Vlatko Cancar, a 2.03 forward, born on April 10, 1997, in Koper, Slovenia, coming from the Denver Nuggets.

HIS CAREER – Raised in Slovenia, playing for Olimpia Ljubljana, Cancar moved to Belgrade in 2016 to play with Mega Leks for two seasons. In March 2018, he moved to Spain in Brugos where he also remained for the 2018/19 season (10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds on average in Spain). Selected in the 2017 NBA draft by the Denver Nuggets (number 49), he signed his first NBA contract in 2019 and remained there until the 2024/25 season for a total of 143 regular season games and 15 playoff games including the 2022/23 season in which the Nuggets won the NBA title.
NOTES – With the Slovenian senior national team, Cancar won the gold medal at the 2017 European Championships, played at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics (12.8 points per game) and the 2022 European Championships (11.3 points per game).
