Olimpia Milano received from the hands of the Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala, the Ambrogino d’Oro, the prestigious honor recognized by the Municipality of Milan, in this case for conquering of the thirtieth Italian championship with which the team honored the city. The recognition was presented by the Mayor himself to President Leo Dell’Orco during the team’s visit to Palazzo Marino.

The Mayor was given a preview of Olimpia’s number 1 jersey with the three stars on the chest which will be worn starting from tomorrow’s semi-final Super Cup game in Brescia. The jerseys, both red and white, were shown at Palazzo Marino by the entire Olimpia team. “I want to thank Giorgio Armani, Leo Dell’Orco, coach Messina, all the players and the coaching staff for making Milan and many fans experience this extraordinary adventure, a dream that must continue – said the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala -.
