This is Jordan Theodore’s second part intervew with Olimpia Milano Tv. Here, he’s mostly talking about his huge expectations for the upcoming season.

The EuroLeague debut – “I’m super-excited for this opportunity. When you play for different leagues you crave f to play againstor the chance of playing against EuroLeague teams. If you check my resume, against EuroLeague teams I’ve played really well. I’m looking forward to play in the EuroLeague and play at the EuroLeague level every night. And showcase my skils against the best players in Europe. Let me say lso that as a player, you want to compete against the best any time you stepo on the floor. The EuroLeague gives me this opportunity and I’m looking forwrd to it”.

About his numbers against EuroLeague teams (over 20 points and seven assists per game) – “I’m always confident. I had a great season last year, I had a lot of things to do for my team in order to play big minutes and I know this season will be different. I’ve really, realli talented players around me, my role will be different but my confidence is at an All-Time high and to be here, at Olimpia Milan, it’s a dream come true for me. I’m finally here where I’ve always seen me being with the best players in Europe. I’m here to make my presence felt”.

The Makedonia experience – “It was great to have the chance to play for a European National Team. It taught me a lot I wasn’t used. Coming in, to me it was just basketball, but in reality I represented a country. Everything is on the line. And in the beginning I didn’t really understand: to me it was just basketball then we lose to Kosovo and there’s a rivalry. When we went in Kosovo and some fans were spitting on me… I’ve never seen nothing like that. I have played in Turkey, France, Germany and I never had to deal with people spitting on me. When you play for a National Team and there’s this kind of rivalry… After that I took everything more seriously ththe first time I got on the court. At the beginning it definitely wasn’t easy”.

The goals – “My individual goal is to be the best point-guard in Europe and to win as much as possible. I know for me in order to be the best point-guard we have to win as a team. To achieve my individual goals we have to achieve our team goals. We need to come together as a team, everybody has to understand that the team comes first, no matter what. And we’ll just have a good time. Basketball have to be fun, you might not have fun on the court, but it is a long season. There will be bumps down the road but thaat’s life. If we enjoy it and work hard it will be a season to remember”.

The skills – “I used to consider myself flashy but I’m not flashy. I’m an high-energy player, I just love to play, I’m all over the place, up and down, I love to feed my teammates, to create open shots. I want to win, I’m very emotional, you’ll see me trying to get the crowd involved all time because I feel the crowd is important to help the team win. And finally I never give up, whether we are down by five or by 20, I will continue to fight until the buzzer goes off. It’s the killer inside me, just the fighter and never give up”.
