It’s a bad night for Olimpia, a night to forget. The expcted reactions lasted 10 minutes when it led by five and looked promising. It didn’t last. The second quarter was a 8-point struggle, Panathinaikos took control, gained confidence and was on a great shooting night. Olimpia couldn’t sustain the effort, went down by 11 at the end of the second and never seemed capable to go back in contention. Coach Repesa changed the second half rotation, used Bruno Cerella and Andrea Cinciarini but it was a terrible night nonetheless. The fourth quarter and even more than that was a nightmare. Final score was 86-72.
