The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) will honor Coach Dan Peterson with the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Minneapolis National Convention from April 4th to 8th, during the NCAA Final Four. In the motivation, we read that “Dan has been heavily involved in the growth of basketball as a coach and as a commentator through several decades and was chosen for the body work done over a lifetime to help the growth and development of our sport in the US, in Chile, in Italy and in Europe. The influence of Dan during five decades shows how deserving he is of this award”.
Dan Peterson was also nominated for the second time for the Springfield basketball Hall of Fame.
