Andrew Goudelock three to win the game missed the target and Olimpia’s furious comeback came up short. Venezia was able to resist and win 84-80 in Milan. Goudelock had a sensational game scoring 28 points including 21 in the second half and made six threes. The last one was not good unfortunately. Against the defending Champions Olimpia played a close game but lost control in the fourth when a 13-0 run pushed Milan down by 11 and condemned to stage another epoca comeback that was not completed also in spite of 17-point 11-rebound effort by a recovered Gudaitis.
