Kruno Simon set the tone early. He made his first 4 three-pointers and staretd the second half the same way he finished the first. On fire! He closed the game making two crucial free throws and had 22-point, 7-assist game in Pistoia. And still Olimpia, after being up by as many as 17 points and after closing the first half by 16, 50-34, had to win the gme all over again because of a bad third quarter when Pistoia scored 29 pointgs and went even up by one before tying it up at 63 with a buzzer beating three by Alex Kirk. It was a strange game. Olimpia opened the fourth quarter with a 10-0 run and then never looked back, but Pistoia was still able to come back. After Simon made two free throws in the last minute, Olimpia defended up by three and Esteban Batista with a huge rebound off a Lafayette miss converted two more foul shots to close the game out. Olimpia won 85-80 in the end with four players scoring in double figure.
