Coach Jasmin Repesa talks about tomorrow first EuroLeague game with Maccabi Tel Aviv. “It’s going to be a very difficult game because Maccabi invested a lot in the summer, like it didn’t invest in many years and the team is really amazing. If we let them running they are extraordinary and capable to score 100 points on a given night. We have to keep them from running like Hapoel Jerusalem did in the preseason Winner Cup. So we need to keep the number of turnovers very low because they are also good at pressing the ball after scoring. We also need to adjust to the type of team they are, with four guys out on the perimeter and power forwards who are really small forwards like Victor Rudd or Devin Smith. Everything will be complicated but by executing well our plan we’ll do well, feeding off our home fans energy”.
