Coach Repesa talked about his team win over Sassari: “We had to win and we did in spite of allowing once more too many offensive rebounds and also making mistakes for a lack of attention. But I also noticed some defensive progress and a reaction that honestly I hoped to see right after the Olympiacos game. It wasn’ti easy for some guys like Cinciarini or Fontecchio but everybody wanted to help the team and that was good. Sanders? I like when he plays defense with energia like he did  against Efes too. I don’t pay  attention to the points he scores. Gentile was good too. He never forced anything and helped his teammates. He was good defensively too. He’s improving his foul shots because mentally he feels stronger now”.
