Reggio Emilia stormed back in the series with a solid 81-72 win over Olimpia in game 3 of the Italian league finals. Olimpia approached the game well, wuth Cinxiarini and Kalnietis making up for a very unusual struggling night that plagued Rakim Sanders and Alessandro Gentile. They combined to score just 5 points with a cumulative 2 for 14 from the field.  Still Olimpia went up by 8 early the game and had the final  stretch of second and third quarter to blame for losing control in a very hostile environment. When Della Valle complented Darijus Lavrinovic hot shooting night, Olimpia went down by 21  in the fourth. But the resilience was there and with a 12-0 run, Olimpia tried to scare Reggio Emilia. It took a questionable call on a Macvan’ s block on a long jumper by Della Valle ti stop rhe rally. Macvan was sanctioned with a technical doul for excessive reaction. Olimpia is up 2-1 in the series with game 4 scheduled to be played on Thutsday in Reggio Emilia. So far home court has been respected in every game.
