Red Star defense had its way against Olimpia normally outstanding offense. In Belgrade, it was 83-70 for the Serbian team that played tough defense, was physical and pushed Olimpia’s offense off rhytm. Milan had its moments especially in the first quarter but somehow lost control of the tempo, went down, tried to get back but missed too many easy shots and didn’t execute as hoped defensively. Marko Simonovic with the three and late Nate Wolters with an oustanding second half made the difference. Olimpia is now 4-4 in EuroLeague.
