Coach Simone Pianigiani spoke to the media after the Madrid game. “Some turnovers changed the momentum in the third quarter. They allowed them to score in transition which is what they do better especially at home. Under the circumstances it was easier to lose by 25 than to comeback down by one possession. So we showed we have a soul. We took the first couple of punches and we responded. Every time. We have to keep moving forward. There were some calls I didn’t understand. Technicals, flagrant fouls etc. It’s not my job to judge and I’m not complaining. It’s part of a growing process. I need to focus on tge things we can control and there are things we need to do better”.
