Coach Simone Pianigiani prepared the upcoming EuroLeague road game in Tel Aviv in a single practice after two Italian league games. “We face a difficult road trip, not just because historically winning in Tel Aviv is always complicated but also because they are now playing at a very high level. Their record is misleading, they won three of the last five games and a changed team. Now they have great size since moving Caloiaro at the 3 and Kane at the 2 and know how to use it defensively and to dominate the rebounds. We’ll have to play a mentally strong game, solid at both ends of the floor, moving the ball, limiting turnovers, stay in control, keep some kind of flow offensively while protecting the paint and being ready to face their many offensive options. Our goal is to compete against a team that now is playing really well and to keep improving, because this is the only way to keep the position in the standing that we earned”.
