Simone Pianigiani talked about the upcoming EuroLeague game against FC Barcelona after Olimpia returned from Madrid this morning. “We face another top team but when you ply after 48 hours, with a trip between games, no time to prepare anything the outcome is unpredictable. We approch this game with a different skin: after the first three games we gathered a lot of cheers and no points. Now we can live with being less fluid and good-looking if we can be very aggressive, while involving the crowd. They are new, with a new coach, they come off a couple of losses so they are going to be very motivated. I expect this game to be a lot rougher than the previous three. We need to be very full of energy against a team capable to stretch the floor and with big men very good at shooting the ball. Our intensity has to be very high for 40 straight minutes. This the key. For a night I want to see an ugly, bad-looking but efficient and very aggressive team in order to win. We want something to show for our effort”.

Arturas Gudaitis spoke about the game too: “They are very creative and like every Spanish team they are very dangerous in transition. So the key will be to limit our turnovers and controlling the rebounds. It’s important for us to improve defensively”.
