There was not much energy left for Olimpia in game 5. Trento got the lead early and never relinquished it basically dominating the second half to finish 102-82 for a 3-1 definitive win. On top of playing without Kruno Simon, Olimpia didn’t have Davide Pascolo after seven minutes. He tried but on a damaged knee and had to give up. The final game showed a team plagued by turnovers and bad defense, not different from many other outings during the season. So it’s over now. Olimpia won the Supercup and the Italy Cup, the goal was to complete the Italian Grand Slam and repeating in the league but it caame up short.
