It was half Olimpia in Athens against a powerhouse like Panathinaikos. Literally. With not enough players available, afraid of not doing any more damages, it had to play an usual type of game, slowing the tempo down, using the zone defense and even atypical line-up including the one that played the fourth quarter with Davide Pascolo at the three. That line-up had a positive plus/minus as Olimpia won the fourth quarter and succumbed 74-61. It played with a lot af proud and was able to contain the loss. In spurts it was even brilliant, at the start when full of energy opened the game 10-2. Cinciarini, Abass and Macvan at moments were very good. Besides Mantas Kalnietis returned from his injury with a limit to his minutes, but he helped a lot.
