It was a game of runs, but Olimpia kept control of it throughout the night and won 87-73 over Asvel Villeurbanne with another big team effort. Milan led by as many as fifteen points, getting away for good in the fourth quarter. Once more, a lot of guys contributed and made crucial plays at some critical juncture. Five players scored in double digit, led by Shavon Shields’ 17 points (and seven rebounds). His game was full of energy and poor of mistakes, he finished with no turnovers while staying on the court for almost 33 minutes. Malcolm Delaney had 8 assists, Sergio Rodriguez made four three-pointers (and three setals), Zach LeDay effort in the paint was in full display in the second half. He finished the game with 10 points and nine rebounds, went six-for-six from the line. He played two positions because early foul troubles forced Kyle Hines to play less than 15 minutes for the night.
