Olimpia completed another good test in Vigevano, defeating Tortona 81-70 after a very competitive game. With the exception of the first few minutes, when the starting line-up hit the ground running and built a 16-2 commanding lead, the game was a back-and-forth battle. Olimpia led tha majority of the time but Tortona never gave up, kept coming back, forcing to stay mentally into the game. A seven-point lead, several times, was the most Olimpia could do for thirty minutes. Only in the fourth period, the margin was enlarged a little bit. Coach Ettore Messina used 12 players. In spurts everybody helped more or less. Lorenzo Brown was instrumental in the third quarter making two consecutive threes keeping the opponent at distance. Olimpia controlled the board too, with several players helping, including Armoni Brooks who was able during a bad shooting night to help somehow. In the fourth, the biggest margin was 16 points, but Tortona found a way to come back one more time so Olimpia had to play the game right through the end.
