It was an impressive, convincing playoffs’ debut. Olimpia won 90-67 in game 1 against Virtus Bologna, riding a devastating all-arounf game by Daniel Hackett who also surpassed the 2.000-point barrier for his career. EA7 took control of the game early, got away in the second period, struggled a little bit in the third but it was commanding performance nonetheless. Samardo Samuels was a factor under the boards, Bruno Cerella had a terrific first half, Linas Kleiza made some threes and Alessandro Gentile had another excellent game. EA7 is leading the series 1-0 with game 2 scheduled to take place on Wedsneday again in Milano.
