Olimpia approached the game against Capo d’Orlando with the right face. It hit the ground running, making four consevcutive threes. Upea was able to get ahead momentarily in the first quarter but it didn’t last. Olimpia took away, convincingly and turned the game into a show, winning 98-69. It’s the seventh consecutive win in the Italian league, win number eight overall. Now the streak at home in the Italian league regular season has reached number 24. Olimpia controlled the board, defended well and was able to execute in the right way in spite of not having Alessandro Gentile, stopped because of some back spasms. Joe Ragland had an injury to his left hand but still was on fire when he step on the court. It finished with the Under 19’s backcourt sharing the spotlight. Francesco Villa even made a corner three to finish the game 98-69.
