103 points scored, 26 assists (six each for Ellis and Mannion, who also played together in the fourth quarter), six players in double figures, led by Zach LeDay, who scored 19 points with five three-pointers and a 31 personal rating. Thus Olimpia prevailed over Virtus Bologna, 103-87, returning to a 50 percent win rate in the EuroLeague. Olimpia dominated the game from the start, 40 minutes out of 40, consistently leading by significant margins, involving everyone and moving the ball well. When they built double digit leads (21 points was the biggest margin), they kept playing, pushing, and never take the chance of a comeback, which has proved fatal at times, most recently in Monaco last Tuesday. Milan immediately set the tone, controlled rebounds and loose balls, and scored a lot: 32 points in the first quarter, 57 at halftime. Then, they attacked the game with energy at the start of each quarter, so Virtus never looked like they could become a threat. They chose to start with the top five that had helped them in the last game but never had the chance to become dangerous.
