Two scrimmages, in the Unipol Forum training gym, behind closed doors, against Varese and Brescia, plus four official games of increasing level of difficulties, against Tortona on the road, against Hapoel Jerusalem (among the most competitive teams of the next Eurocup), and finally at the Crete tournament open only to EuroLeague teams. The semi-final will be against Fenerbahce, fresh from a Final Four trip and significantly remodeled (Wade Baldwin, Devon Hall, Bonzie Colson and Nicolò Melli arrived; Nick Calathes, Tyler Dorsey, Georgios Papagiannis, Johnathan Motley left), followed by a close-out game against Virtus Bologna or Olympiacos Piraeus. The six games will be used to arrive in the best possible conditions at the Bologna Super Cup, the key event of the pre-season. Olimpia will face Reyer Venezia on September 21st at 6:00 pm and in case of of a win they will face the hosts Virtus Bologna or Gevi Napoli, holders of the Italian Cup, in the championship game the following day.
