It was a fair first half: Olimpia set the tempo, had some good moment even with the second unit and a couple of scoring outburst led by Zach LeDay, at some point by Armoni Brooks and Shavon Shields. Offensive rebounds kept Bayern in the game after an unchracteristic scoreless half produced by Carsen Edwards because of a great Leandro Bolmaro’s defensive effort. But everything changed in the second half. Coming back from the locker room, Bayern was on fire, Olimpia was flat. Edwards completed a three-point play in the very first possession and Vladimir Lucic hit a corner three after an Olimpia silly turnover. In a matter of seconds, the lead ballooned at seven and Coach Messina had to call a time-out. But from that point it was all downhill. Olimpia lost 87-70 in Munich.
