The last few minutes are a nightmare for Olimpia and Pesaro won 69-66. After being up by nine in the middle of the fourth quarter, Olimpia lost control of the game, had some bad defensive possession, allowing easy baskets and all of a sudden was down. Milan Macvan then tried to bring the team back into the game and Kruno Simon had the potential winning shot on a running hook in the paint. But he missed and the game was lost like that. Olimpia came back from eight down in the first period, but controlled the boards and the defense was good and forced Pesaro to miss many shots. But the tragic shooting night from three (3/28) prevented Olimpia from killing the game and in the end the defense wasn’t not up to its capabilities. Jamel McLean had a great game, Milan Macvan had a double double but still Olimpia was without Gentile, Sanders, Hummel and Cerella.
