Olimpia went in a hole in the first half going down by 19 and then had a fantastic third quarter, when it scored 32 points and got back twice within four points. But in the end it was too difficult to rally from 19 even when Samardo Samuels was his old self in the third, Keith Langford drew foul after foul and Daniel Hackett led the team with a three and a three-point play. Another passive five-minute span early in the fourth allowed Siena to regain its lead to close the game 85-68. Now Olimpia leads the series 2-1 with game 4 still to be played in Siena on Saturday. Game 5 is on Monday in Milano.
