Olimpia completed its second perfect season in a row at home by beating 78-77 Pistoia, who came in Milano to try to sneak into the playoffs picture with a win. In the end it was a free-throw shooting contest. Olimpiua prevailed when Alessandro Gentile made his second attempt and the defense kept Pistois from taking the last shot. Samardo Samuels was a dominating force throughout the game while Coach Banchi obviously tried to rotate players and distribute minutes especially in the first half to get his team prepared for upcoming playoffs.
