Olimpia A/X Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan is fully committed to the Armani Group’s vision, which involves promoting and supporting environmental issues. Since the 2018/2019 sports season, for official Championship and Euroleague games, players have adopted on a permanent basis the special uniform designed for Earth Day 2018, which is made with a fabric entirely recycled from polyester bottles. This Newlife fabric used to create the uniforms is obtained from a yarn which, in addition to recycling waste material, is produced by means of a mechanical (nonchemical) process which considerably reduces water and energy consumption that is normally used in the production of polyester.  With this initiative, the team wishes to convey an active environmental theme that affects us all and emphasises how even small gestures can, with the attention and commitment of each individual, contribute to its improvement.
