Olimpia played a brilliant offensive game and edged Malaga 101-87. The ball moved smoothly, Jordan Theodore had 11 assists, a career-high, the shots went in. Olimpia shot 62 percent from three-point range including an impressive 6-for-8 show by Andrew Goudelock. Coach Pianigiani received a lot by a lot of players including 27 points from the nominal power forwards with Mindaugas Kuzminskas scoring 17 points against his former team. Olimpia led most of the night, responded strongly when Malaga with a 6-0 run to start the third quarter surpassed briefly. Micov promptly responded with a three and Olimpia regained the lead inmediately in spite of a red-hot Jeff Brooks who made seven shots before missing once. In the fourth quarter Olimpia controlled the outcome and mounted a solid defense to close Malaga out.
