Olimpia had another outstanding game in Desio, versus Cantù, winning it 102-62. There was only one juncture late in the first period and early in the second when Cantù took fire from the arc and came back within two. Olimpia promptly responded and never looked back. Offensively, Milan had 25 assists again, made 14 threes (out of 23, 60.9 percent), and six players scored in double figure. But Coach Ettore Messina was pleased with the defensive effort too. Olimpia forced 23 turnovers. “We moved the ball, we passed it and so we shot well, percentage-wise – he said -, I like the attitude and quality of our game in a night where we could share the minutes and keep out a couple of important players who had been used a lot so far.” Olimpia rested Malcolm Delaney and Kyle Hines, besides Michael Roll, didn’t have Riccardo Moraschini, because of an injury, and kept leading scorer Kevin Punter under 19 minutes of playing time. He led the team with 17 points. Zach LeDay added 16 and seven rebounds, the same number grabbed by Kaleb Tarczewski and Shavon Shields, who both scored in double digit. Now Olimpia is 3-0 in the Supercup qualifying round, waiting for its next game on Friday against unbeaten Brescia (2-0),
