When it counted the most Olimpia responded. After being challenged by Trento in the second quarter (Tony Mitchell had 17 first-half points) and again in the third when it repeatedly went within two points, EA7 had a dominating fourth quarter at both ends of the court and closed the game convincingly 102-83 for its twelfth consecutive win. Olimpia overcame foul troubles with both its power forwards, had to play small most of the game but distributed the offensive load among many players and all of them made their contribution felt. It was Samardo Samuels early, David Moss in the second period, Joe Ragland was great scoring 12 points in the third to keep Olimpia ahead while MarShon Brooks had one of those nights, scoring 28 points. It was the first league game for Daniel Hackett. He wasn’t effective shooting the ball but helped the team getting control of Mitchell in the second half. And Gentile made a huge three that basically put Trento away for good.
