Olimpia ruined its game in Avellino in the first quarter when allowed 30 points and went down by 15. It was a huge hole to get out from. The biggest margin was 17 points and in the fourth quarter it was able to get within four at one point. But it was a come from behind impossible game and Avellino deserved to win 80-68. “It was the fourth game in eight days and we were running empty at the end but that’s not the reaspn why we lost. In the first period there was no attention to details. In Avellino if you go down by 15 it’s very difficult to come back and win. We knew what to do against Fesenko but we didn’t execute the plan well enough”, Coach Repesa said at the end.
