Olimpia took the game over early and secured the win in an outstanding third quarter, cruising to a convincingly 81-69 win over Trento. It’s the fifth consecutive win in the Italian league. It was a total team effort since the best scorer was Amedeo Della Valle with just 11 points, but everybody helped. “Aaron White gave us incredible energy,” Coach Ettore Messina pointed out at the end. White scored 10 first-quarter points including two threes with Luis Scola rested by Messina. “We started a little passive which was understandable since this was our fifth game in nine days, but the second unit gave us a big boost. It wasn’t easy, that are good and use Alessandro Gentile in a Smart way, posting him up repeatedly,” Messina said.
